How long does flooring installation take?

Most single-room jobs are completed in a day. A whole-home installation typically runs two to three days depending on square footage, the materials selected, and how much prep the subfloor needs. We give you a specific timeline at the in-home estimate.
Will you remove my old flooring?

Yes. Removal and disposal of old flooring is included in most installation projects. We quote it up front so the cost is transparent before you sign off.
Do I need to move my furniture before you arrive?

Not necessarily. We can move furniture for an additional charge. Many homeowners prefer to clear smaller items themselves and leave the heavy pieces to us. We will discuss it during the estimate so you know what's included.
What happens if my subfloor is in bad shape?

Subfloor issues are common in older Michigan homes: soft spots, water damage, uneven height, or staples and nail heads sticking up. We inspect during the measurement, flag any prep work that is required, and quote it before we start so you can decide.
